Look what I just Found.

I guess it's been a hectic year. I just found this in a folder I was about to delete. Here is this years Valentine illustrations for my kids. NOT DEAD YET!

Just in case any of you were wondering.

I also have a few more treats that I am working on.
I will try and get them done soon. Not the whole movie. Don't be silly.
But I have made some pretty good progress on a few environments and characters that I would like to share.

In the mean time enjoy some rendered animation goodness...

You know, For Kids.

Over the last year or so I have been lucky enough to have been asked to do a series of illustrations for various social studies and history text books. The cool thing about these is I actually learned a bunch of stuff as I researched them. I still may not be smarter than a fourth grader, but I am getting closer.
Here are some of my favorites.

I have a (LEGO) Dream

The kids and I made an other movie together.
In celebration of MLK day we did a reenactment of his famous
"I have a Dream" speech in Lego. It was the first time Ella really understood
the concept of editing and no one cried. It was a true red letter day.
She now has some ideas for some other holiday movies.
I hope we get to do another Thanksgiving Movie. Those are fun.

enjoy!
